“Unity is a strength”, knowing this quote as an ideal one, we all prefer to work as a team. I strongly believe, most of the time, being united is really important. But it doesn’t mean that you cannot be successful alone or you cannot stay alone. I have proven this ideal quote by changing a bit that “Human can do things alone with patience”
Now let’s analyze teamwork vs individual work more critically:
Team’s necessity:
When we work as a team, whatever the task is, that can be easily completed. Team actually means we split our big project out into separate parts to finish the task in a shorter time. Despite working hard, a man who works alone, cannot go so far.
Sometimes, working with a team is a blessing because every human has different qualities and talents. In a tough situation, it can happen that your mind is frozen to think anything at that moment. In that time, a teammate can help you out from that issue. Maybe you are facing troubles in solving any problem of your task, your teammate will work on it. As we know that, everyone has a different mind to think. So, it is not negligible and it can be the strongest quality to be a part of a team.
Being a boss, you may feel that you are the superior among all but being a leader it satisfies the soul. Because of being a leader, you feel the happiness of the successful working as a teammate. You not only lead your team but also motivate all the team members to work efficiently. According to me, being a leader makes me feel successful, not being a boss.
Why group work is irritating:
If you are working with a group in what you don’t feel so comfortable, you cannot work for long. Perhaps, you are observing that your teammates are not like you or they do not think the way you do. So, somehow you cannot rely on them as much you can blindly rely on yourself. It is very important to choose the right one as your teammate. You should have the same mentality to feel the work in the same way in a serious manner. You can get pissed off if your teammate is not as serious as you are, it is quite normal. So, in that kind of situation, you should work alone and you will see the difference of work performance.
Working alone is preferable in that sense, if you are really having enough skills and knowledge and you have that determination to reach your goal.
Surviving Alone:
In this technological era, anyone can live alone. Being independent, everyone is maintaining his life very effectively. So, the thought has been changed from “Man cannot live alone “into “Man can live alone”. Nowadays, none is dependable much on others. Everyone knows how to utilize the technology having smart phone or devices to make his life more comfortable and easier. So, there is nothing to worry about. In recent period of time, distance learning is the most recommended medium to make ourselves enriched with knowledge. There is virtual classroom and so many people, so, if anyone feels to discuss with them, they can.
I would like to put a few examples for the positive sides of being alone.
Example 1:
Shopping in E-market:
It is trendy to shop from online websites. Everyone in this age is very busy, cannot manage time to go for shopping. So, it is easier to shop from E-market. It saves our valuable time and we do not need to face troubles in bargaining the prices face to face as well.
Also, it has a positive side that, a person who has none to go for shopping along with him, he can also survive in this world. Everything is now very easier and favorable.
Example 2:
Playing alone:
Once upon a time, some children might face this problem what I am going to discuss now. In the childhood, they did not find any friend to play with or could not make any friend to have any silly conversation. So, this problem has been resolved. Everyone can now play games in his smart devices especially with phones. This is more enjoyable now to play alone and make friends virtually. It doesn’t affect anyone’s mind as well.
Example 3:
Staying alone in a city:
Staying alone is not a big deal rather than staying with someone who is not your type. Because, staying with someone with a different mentality from yours can affect your life. The way he lives, perhaps you do not lead your life like that. Perhaps, you love to research or study without any interruption or you love to stay calm or you love to enjoy music and so on. If you stay alone with every facility like having broadband internet, smart phones and all basic necessary things, it will be the best option. Your life will be more peaceful as you always wanted to have. There will be no chaos around you.

Perspective on Teamwork vs Individual work
When it comes to teamwork vs individual work, it is all perspective and dependable on the circumstances. If you are fortunate enough to work with some good and helpful teammates, there is nothing better than that. But surviving alone is now not impossible that also we have to know. If you are not having a supportive team, you should rather work alone. It was my motive to focus on ‘surviving alone’, as because I want you all to know that even if you are alone, there is nothing to worry about. You can be your best pal and the strongest motivation of your life.
