What is trekking?
Trekking is merely walking around but with a purpose and to enjoy the view and scenery. Usually, people do trekking on the hillside to appreciate and nurture the beauty of it. Anybody can go trekking; no such health condition is required as it is a soft-adventure sport. One must only prepare itself with acclimatization.
It is starting from a particular point in the morning and returning to the same spot by the evening. One feels accomplished and successful by doing so. You can start trekking by having someone together who is a professional trekker, or with the help of the trekking companies. What is hiking?
Hiking Is merely walking around nature. Be it in the group or alone. Many people do hiking in the morning, and many groups to arrange hiking walk for the people. It is a physical form of training to stay fit physically. Hiking includes climbing the mountains as well. But, the people should be trained for the arduous hikes. The other such activities in which Hiking is important includes camping, hunting etc.
Benefits of Hiking:
There are benefits of Hiking, here are few :
1) Mood improvement- When you go on hiking alone or with somebody, you get to enjoy the scenery and thus your mood changes. You are able to spend some time alone with yourself, enjoying your own company.
2) Increase fitness- When you go on Hiking, your fitness level is increased. Your power is increased
3) Tones the whole body – If you do hiking regularly, your body will get into the shape. And if you do so around the rocks and hills, you get to experience the whole exercise which is only for the betterment of your body.
4) Lower blood pressure and cholesterol- Regular Hiking helps your blood pressure and cholesterol to stay controlled.It helps you to stay fit as it reduces the changes of heart diseases and diabetes.
Difference between trekking and Hiking:
1) Hiking is a free time walk whereas trekking is a much longer walk.
2) Hiking is normally walking may be on the road or a park, whereas trekking is done on the mountains.
3) Hiking is a one-day activity, so it does not require much planning or things whereas trekking requires you to take safety kits along.
4) Hiking is not that adventure sport; it is only appreciating the scenery or beauty around. But, trekking it climbing the mountains.
The highest mountains in the world for trekking :
1) Swiss Alps- The swiss alps mountains are in Switzerland. These are one of the highest mountains. One can get easily on top of it by the car or train services. The weather changes very quickly, and you might face strong winds too.
2) Mount Logan- It is the highest mountain in Canada names after a Canadian geologist. It is at 19,850 feet. One can climb through the glacier way to reach the mountain.
3) Mount Fuji- It is situated in Japan and is one of the most famous tourists’ attractions. The best time to visit this place is between July and August when you can enjoy the whole beautiful view.
4) Grand Teton- It is in the United States Of America. It is a national park with breathtaking views around.
5) Bogda Peak- It is 18000 ft tall mountain located in China. The mountains which have many obstacles around but still many mountaineers have been able to climb so.
Bouldering : It simply climbing over the rocks. In a simple language, bouldering could mean the rock climbing. Bouldering could be done on the artificial rocks without the use of harness of any such support.
